(Archive) Community Update
Been somewhat quiet over the past month but I can assure you, things are cooking under the surface. Right now there is a storm of new life raging through both the XWA Upgrade Project and this place as well.
You heard right: The XWAUP is not dead! DTM has released his amazing recreation of the Cargo Facility 1 and Marco Antonio followed suite with his updated Pursuer Enforcement Ship. The project is getting back up to pace.
Visit the XWAUP Homepage for details!
Regarding my XWAUP Works there are indeed quite some updates as well:
- The Super Star Destroyer is 'almost' done, too, only a few more bits and pieces that need work done, so I am confident that this long-term project will also face completion very soon.
- The Toscan Fighter v2 finally got some long needed progress. While the exterior's almost complete, I have also intensified work on the Cockpit.
- The Space Colony 1 returned from the dead as I rediscovered the model I thought lost on an old HDD - along with some more lost files that used to be dear to me.
See the Workbench for the recent updates!
DTM's revisions
Not to forget to mention: DTM has also been revising two legendary but by now slightly dusty opts, the Mon Remonda-Class Calamari Cruiser originally by JM, made famous by the classic X-Wing Novels. The second is the no less legendary Vengeance-class Battlecruiser by MJT, starring in the original Jedi Knight video game. Some excellent revisions those are! Head over to MTD Industries and get yours now!
Various on-site updates
I have greatly updated the Download Page to make downloading easier. While the existing section pages remain, there are now also direct links to every single ship profile as well as a list of direct download links to redue the effort required for downloading. That's it for now. I plan to get some more live into this place again in the future.
